European Diabetes Forum (EUDF) urges to start screening children for type 1 diabetes

DiaUnion is building up infrastructure in Southern Sweden and Denmark to screen for type 1 diabetes. This is why:

Type 1 diabetes incidence is rising 2% every year

295,000 children and teens in the EU lives with type 1 diabetes

Early detection is the only way to prevent development of acute symptoms and ensure targeted intervention
